Site work for a water / sewer project in Wetumpka, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work includes the installation of 13,000 linear feet of 20-inch Ductile Iron Water Main and 1,800 linear feet of 20-inch Restrained Joint Ductile Iron Water Main, fire hydrants, and related appurtenances. Instructions to bidders: Bid security must be furnished as specified. Bidders must submit, upon request, a list of projects successfully completed in the past two years with the same scope of work and approximate construction cost. All bidders must comply with the Contractor's Licensing Law of the State of Alabama and be certified for the type of work proposed. Each bidder must include with their bid a security deposit in the form, amount, and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders bidding in amounts exceeding limits set by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be licensed under Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, and display the license number on the outside of the proposal envelope. No bidder may withdraw a bid within 60 days after opening.
