Sealed bids are requested for an on-call contract covering traffic signals, foundations, conduit, and associated work within Hudson County for the years 2026-2027. Plans and specifications are available for inspection and purchase from the Office of the County Engineer. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes endorsed with the project title and will be received as per the specified procedures. Each bid must include a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond equal to ten percent of the bid (not exceeding $20,000), a certificate from a surety company (A or better by A.M. Best) for performance bonds, a statement of ownership disclosure form, a list of subcontractors, and properly executed bid forms with acknowledgment of addenda. Bidders should refer to the Specifications' Checklist for the full list of required forms. Compliance with statutes and regulations regarding labor, safety, insurance, anti-discrimination, and other requirements is mandatory. Hudson County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive defects as permitted by law. The contract award is contingent upon financial certification by the Director of Finance & Administration.
