Scope of Work: CEC - Walkway Improvements - Centralia College. Instructions to Bidders: BID - CEC - Walkway Improvements - Centralia College. Site Improvements to include conversion of one block of Walnut Street and one block of Rock Street to a pedestrian corridor, including addition of paver bricks along Walnut and the traffic circle, concrete borders and curbs/gutters, replacement of portions of sidewalk, and relocation/installation of an existing steel traffic gate. Electrical work includes addition of infrastructure for owner-provided pedestrian light poles. A. Scope of work is as indicated on drawings and specifications. In general, the scope includes: Site Improvements to include conversion of one block of Walnut Street and one block of Rock Street to a pedestrian corridor, including addition of paver bricks along Walnut and the traffic circle, concrete borders and curbs/gutters, replacement of portions of sidewalk, and relocation/installation of an existing steel traffic gate. Electrical work includes addition of infrastructure for owner-provided pedestrian light poles. B. Contractor shall coordinate all activities necessary for the provision of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, trees, shrubs, and ground covers necessary to complete all landscape operations in accordance with these specifications, as shown on the plans and details, or as directed by the Landscape Architect/Owner. C. These landscape operations shall be performed only by a licensed, bonded landscape contracting firm that specializes in landscape installation. D. Trees, shrubs, and ground covers will hereinafter be referred to collectively as plant material.
