Demolition for a municipal facility in Mocksville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 17,500-square-foot municipal facility.
Sealed Single Prime bids are invited for the demolition of the existing "Old" Davie County DSS/HHS Office Building. The work includes the demolition of buildings shown on the Old Davie County DSS/HHS site and erosion control measures by a Single Prime Contractor. The project consists of the demolition of 10,687 sf on the main floor and 6,811 sf on the lower level, including asbestos removal, site components, utilities, and grading. Bidders must be properly licensed under North Carolina law. A Bid Deposit of 5% of the proposal is required, as well as Payment and Performance Bonds each in the sum of 100% of the Contract Sum. Bidders must use complete sets of Bidding Documents in preparing bids. Davie County has a verifiable ten percent goal for minority business participation. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive non-material informalities.
