In addition, any electrical, mechanical, and plumbing subcontractors (as defined by Public Contract Code section 20111.6(k) and all subcontractors holding a class A or B license that will perform any type of work covered by the specialty licenses listed in section 20111.6(k)) must be prequalified by the District. The type of work for which subcontractors must be prequalified is the work encompassed in the following license classifications: C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43 and C-46, whether performed by a contractor with a Class C license or a Class A or B license.
