The Project includes the following Work: Reconstruction of Walnut Street from Byron Nelson Blvd to Oak Street, including paving, underground storm drainage, replacement of the existing water main, and replacement of the existing sanitary sewer main. Bid Bond Bidders are required to submit a cashier's or certified check issued by a bank satisfactory to the City of Roanoke, or a Bid Bond (with proper Power of Attorney) from a surety licensed to do business in the State of Texas, payable without recourse to the City of Roanoke, in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the total amount of the bid submitted to insure that the successful bidder will enter into a contract and provide all necessary bonds within fifteen (15) days after Notice of Award of the contract. This bid security must be included in the bid envelope for the bidder to be considered responsive.
