Sealed bids are invited for the 2026 Mechanical Unit Replacement at Andrew, Sandburg, and Stagg High Schools. Lump Sum bid proposals are required and must be submitted at the specified time and place. A Bid Guarantee of at least ten percent (10%) of the bid is mandatory, using a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Bank Draft payable to the School Board, Consolidated High School District 230. No bid can be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the opening without owner consent. Successful bidders must provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for the full contract amount. Bids must be submitted in an opaque sealed envelope clearly marked as SEALED BID and addressed accordingly. The School Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof or waive irregularities. Bidders must comply with Illinois Law on prevailing wages. Each bidder must complete the required qualification process and submit Qualification Documents with the bid. Bidding documents can be acquired electronically and reproduced at the bidder's expense. A mandatory pre-bid walk-through for prime contractors will be held as scheduled, and non-attendance may be grounds for bid rejection.
