The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Detroit District intends to solicit construction services for the FY25 Lexington Harbor Maintenance Dredging project. The scope of work includes mobilizing to Lexington, Michigan, dredging the federal navigation channel as indicated in the contract drawings and specifications, placing dredged material as specified, and demobilizing upon completion of dredging activities. The contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Construction Contract and is anticipated to be solicited as an Invitation for Bid (IFB), 100% set-aside for small businesses. The applicable NAICS code is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a small business size standard of $37.0 million under the Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities exception.
