PCL ED, a Joint Venture, along with TWZ Group and Plan Group are inviting suppliers to submit their Statement of Qualifications to pre-qualify to bid on the Lighting Control System (LCS) portion of the Centre Block Rehabilitation Project at 111 Wellington Street, Ottawa, Ontario. The scope includes the supply, programming, commissioning, support, training, and warranty of the Lighting Control System for the Centre Block and Parliament Welcome Centre Buildings. Training of Operations and Maintenance staff and deliverables are required in both French and English. The Lighting Control System is expected to include all equipment necessary to form a complete system. Suppliers must indicate if they are unable to meet some eligibility criteria; the scope may be split into subcontracts accordingly. Eligibility requires previous project experience with heritage building renovation and rehabilitation, custom manufacturing, integration of lighting control with building automation systems, multi-stage occupancies, long-term construction and equipment delivery, ongoing technical support post-construction, independent LCS workstations and local room controls, secure buildings with failsafes for network loss, and installations free of proprietary dependencies or required gateways. The scope may be split into subcontracts due to scheduling, manufacturer capacity, and project size.
