The City of Richmond is requesting the supply and delivery of one (1) medium flat deck crane truck. The unit is to be mounted on a conventional diesel single axle cab and chassis with dual rear wheels and a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of approximately 33,000 lbs. The truck is to be used for transporting construction materials by the Flood Protection Department to various jobsites and for towing various trailers. The cab and chassis must be new, have a cab-to-axle (CA) of 120 inches, and be capable of accommodating up to a 16 ft flat deck body and crane. The bid must include full specifications of all proposed options and alternatives, brochures and detailed drawings or photos, and warranty details. The bidder is required to fill out all sections of the specification form, and any unit not meeting the required specifications will not be considered. The unit should have an anticipated life of ten years, with features for ease of operation and maximum safety for the public and operator. The price must include shipping, delivery, brokerage, duties, transportation charges, standard warranty, and all other incidental charges. Bidders must also provide information regarding customer service, support practices, and value added services. Submission of test reports and circular economy and sustainability documentation may be required as outlined in the bid form.
