Supply and delivery of one tanker truck and outfitting on a City-provided tandem cab and chassis. The work includes providing all labour, equipment, and materials necessary for the complete performance of the job, as well as all statutory assessments, overhead costs, and compliance with applicable laws. The unit is to be used for various functions and may require optional additional items. Bidders are to include the total price covering shipping, delivery, brokerage, duties, standard warranty, and all incidental charges. Bidders must provide full specifications, brochures, detailed drawings or photos of the proposed unit, and warranty details. Additional requirements include the ability to respond to circular economy and sustainability opportunities, provision of spare parts, training for City staff, service and maintenance within proximity to the City, and compliance with government and safety regulations. The proposed tanker body and lube service system must be mounted on a City-provided Peterbilt 567 cab and chassis, suitable for approximately 66,000 lb. GVWR, and must meet the detailed technical specifications listed, including tank capacity, construction materials, cab and chassis outfitting, safety features, and compliance with relevant federal, provincial, and municipal standards. Prices should be held until the date indicated by the bidder. Optional and vendor-recommended items can also be proposed in addition to the base requirement.
