The 309th Software Engineering Group (SWEG) requires comprehensive sanitation and secure disposal of classified information storage devices through contracted media incineration services. The scope includes a Base plus two option years contract. The contractor must provide witness validation, maintaining visibility of containers designated for incineration at all times to ensure media integrity and security. Up to three cleared government personnel will participate in transporting the media to the disposal facility and will oversee and witness the incineration process. Media for incineration will be transported in 55-gallon fiberboard drums reinforced with metal bands and secured with security seals. Media types include magnetic tapes, magnetic disks, diskettes, optical storage devices, hard copy storage devices, and trace amounts of CDs, DVDs, microfiche, etc. Bidders should demonstrate compliance with all specified requirements for secure handling, witness validation, and regulatory standards in the disposal process.
