The County of Hudson is seeking proposals from qualified respondents for the procurement of elevator maintenance and repair at the Frank J. Guarini Justice Complex. The Hudson County Division of Engineering, under the Department of Roads and Public Property, will select an experienced consultant based on the qualifications of the firm, key staff assigned to the project, and the firm's ability to understand the project's purposes, goals, and objectives, and establish appropriate work activities by task to produce needed recommendations. Respondents must include a statement of qualifications, detailed experience and expertise, description of relevant projects, and resumes of key personnel, not exceeding two pages each. Required submissions include a New Jersey Business Registration, proof of compliance with the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, evidence of contractor and subcontractor registration with the New Jersey Department of Labor, a cashier's check, certified check or bid bond payable to the County of Hudson in the sum equal to ten percent of the bid (not to exceed $20,000), a certificate from a surety company rated A or better by A.M. Best, statement of ownership disclosure form, a list of subcontractors, and bid forms with acknowledgement of receipt of addenda. All forms marked as required must be properly executed and included with the bid. Respondents must comply with all statutes and regulations regarding labor, safety, and anti-discrimination. The RFP must be obtained from the County Purchasing Portal, and responses must be submitted in a sealed package with all required documentation included.
