Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Abington, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The Town of Abington invites sealed bids for the demolition and removal of structures from a parcel located within the Town of Abington as described in the IFB 2026-001. Bidding procedures shall be in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30 Section 39M inclusive. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, the complete demolition of a two-story wood-framed structure (measuring approximately 2,400 square feet), including all associated foundations and slabs, underground utilities, and the removal and lawful disposal of all demolition debris. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid amount must accompany each Bid, made payable to the Town of Abington. The Town of Abington reserves the right to reject any proposal which, in its judgment, fails to meet the requirements of this IFB or which is incomplete, conditional, or obscure, or which contains additions or irregularities, or in which errors occur in addition to the foregoing. Question Deadline 01/14/2026 All questions by prospective bidders as to the interpretation of the Instruction to Bidders, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, or any other matter pertaining to this solicitation must be submitted in writing to the Town Manager and must be in his possession not later than Five (5) business days prior to the Bid Opening.
