Site work for a mixed-use development in Abington, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; playground / park / athletic field; and playground / park / athletic field.

The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment required to provide all improvements at Arnold Park. The work includes demolition of existing basketball court and playground area; excavation and installation of one new street hockey basketball court and one multi-purpose court; excavation of new playground area (with new playground equipment to be furnished and installed by others); installation of asphalt wearing surface for both courts, application of sport surface coating and court striping; construction of new storage shed and foundation; installation of aluminum benches; installation of 10-ft high perimeter chain link fence and access gates around each court; and other miscellaneous items of work required to construct a fully functional and operational project as shown on the plans and described herein. Bid includes Add Alternate work packages, which consist of the installation of new light poles and LED lights; two new scoreboards; installation of electrical service panel; drop power service feed (to be located inside the new storage shed); and installation of miscellaneous exterior (weatherproof) power outlets, lighting, wiring, conduits, breakers, trenching and backfill of electrical conduits as shown on the drawings. Bids shall be submitted to the Department of Public Works offices. No faxed, email, or conditional bids shall be accepted.
