Site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in New Port Richey, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a two-unit multi-residential development.
The City of New Port Richey's Community Redevelopment Agency seeks a qualified, creative, and experienced home builder to design, permit, construct, and ultimately sell or lease two new coastal cottage homes in the Edgewater Gardens Subdivision. The project aims to introduce a new housing type that encourages a variety of residential densities and addresses new uses for undersized lots throughout the city. The City is interested in providing a more resilient, single-family, detached housing product in residential areas within flood zone classification AE. The required services include developing an overall vision for each Coastal Cottage, ensuring the vision aligns with New Port Richey's Gulf lifestyle, coordinating colors and palettes to highlight the community, ensuring the health, welfare, and safety of residents, and meeting specified design standards such as opportunities for modern architectural treatments, building height, parking, landscaping, setbacks, and special accommodations to ensure the vision fits the space. Proposals must be submitted with one original, four copies, and one digital USB drive, and be clearly marked with the firm's name and address along with RFP26-016 COASTAL COTTAGE BUILDER.
