The scope of work under this bid shall include all materials, labor, equipment, supervision and incidentals for rehabilitation of the Home Depot Lift Station. Question Deadline 01/21/2026 at 10:00 AM CT Bid security in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid must accompany each Bid as a guarantee that the Successful Bidder will enter into a proper Contract and execute Bonds and Guaranties on the forms provided within eight (8) calendar days after the date Contract Documents are received by the Contractor Upon consideration of the Bids, the City Council plans to award a Contract; however, the City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any or all irregularities, formalities or technicalities, and to accept any bid that it deems advantageous to the City. Bids shall be valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date Bids are opened. Each bidder agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the City, the Engineer, and their respective employees, arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation or recommendation of any bid. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond each in an amount of 100% of the total contract price. Work of the Contract is for the rehabilitation of the Home Depot Lift Station includes, but is not limited to, removing and replacing piping and valves, submersible pumps, access hatches, installing and removing bypass pumping, application of protective coatings to wet well and valve pit surfaces, piping, valves, etc.,construction of limited force main replacement, force main bypass manhole, site paving, electrical and control improvements, and fencing. 1. Home Depot Lift Station Rehabilitation a. Lift Station Site Improvements i. Removal of existing asphalt site pavement and replacement with new concrete pavement and stabilized subgrade. ii. Removal and replacement of chain-link fence and installation of a 12-foot double swing gate. b. Lift Station Rehabilitation i. Installation of force main bypass. ii. Installation and removal of bypass pumping. iii. Removal of two (2) pumps and all piping, fittings, valves, supports, guide rails, hatches, electrical, etc. iv. Removal and disposal of sudge in wet well in accordance with local and state laws and submit hazardous materials manifest, v. Installation of two (2) Flygt NP 3102 MT 3~ Adaptive 465 submersible pumps or approved equal; including piping, fittings, supports, and guide rails. vi. Installation of discharge piping, pipe supports, check valves, plug valves, combination air and vacuum relief valves, surge relief valve, access hatches with safety grates, pressure gauges, electrical and instrumentation systems, conduits, cables, miscellaneous accessories and appurtenances. vii. Blasting and coating of the wet well, valve pit, submersible pumps, piping, valves, etc. Contractor shally utilize coatings described in Section 09901. c. Lift Station Electrical Improvements i. Remove existing electrical service meter, fused disconnect, manual transfer switch, and support rack structure. The portable generator generator connection receptacle to be removed from the manual transfer switch for re-use. ii. Remove existing lift station control panel, autodialer, and all existing lift station electrical power and control raceway and wiring. (These components may be used for temporary pumping operations.) Return to the owner. iii. Remove existing phone demark and wood pole. New phone service demark to be provided. iv. Provide new utility service rack structure with new electrical service meter, fused disconnect, and manual transfer switch. Install the existing generator connection receptacle to the new manual transfer switch. v. Remove existing utility conductors, modify existing underground raceway to route to new utility meter, and provide new utility conductors. vi. Provide new pump control panel and autodialer. Re-establish phone service to the new demark location and connect to autodialer. vii. Provide new lighting. viii. Provide new lift station floats and level instrumentation. ix. Provide new pump and instrumentation termination boxes with new support rack structure. x. Provide new above ground raceway and below ground duct bank with conductors.
