Renovation of a museum in Marysville, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
The project generally consists of the renovation and modernization of the historic Koester Block, including improvements to enhance functionality, safety, and appearance. The scope of work includes utility upgrades to modernize electrical systems, ensuring reliable service and code compliance. This includes the installation of new services and panels, relocation of existing overhead services underground, and provision and installation of new electrical service wire. All work is coordinated to maintain building operations where possible and to meet applicable regulatory and funding requirements. The project site is located at 901, 905, and 909 Broadway St, Marysville, KS 66508 Bid Security and Qualifications Each Bid Shall Be Accompanied by Bid Security in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Bid, in Accordance With the Instructions to Bidders. Bidder Qualifications May Be Required. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids and to Waive Informalities or Irregularities. Project Funding This Project is Funded in Part Through the Kansas Department of Commerce - Community Development Block Grant (Cdbg) Program. * Bonding and Insurance Requirements * Performance Bonds, Payment Bonds, and Insurance Coverage Shall Be Provided in Accordance With the Requirements Set Forth in the Contract Documents. Failure to Submit Acceptable Bonding or Insurance Documentation May Result in Disqualification or Rejection of the Bid. * Federal Labor Standards - Davis-bacon Wage Requirements * This Project is Subject to Federal Labor Standards Provisions, Including the Davis-bacon Act. The Contractor and All Subcontractors Shall Pay Wages at Rates Not Less Than Those Established in the Applicable Federal Wage Determination and Shall Comply With All Related Payroll Reporting and Record-keeping Requirements.
