Site work for a development in Whiskeytown, California. Completed plans call for site work for a development.
The Department requires abandoned mine remediation services on NPS lands at Whiskeytown National Recreation Area (WHIS) in Shasta County. All contractors and subcontractors included in a bid must be registered Public Works contractors with the California Department of Industrial Relations at the time of bid submission. Contractors wishing to bid on this solicitation are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid walkthrough, which will visit all tasks in the field and will require access over sometimes-steep terrain using a four-wheel drive vehicle and involve some moderate hiking on trails and cross-country. A full tank of gas and sufficient food and water for a long day are recommended for this walkthrough.
