Part A: Supply and delivery of one (1) tandem axle truck complete with dump box, spreader unit, plow, and wing to the County of Haliburton, 1516 Ingoldsby Road, Minden, Ontario K0M 2K0. Part B: Supply and delivery of one (1) tandem axle truck complete with dump box, spreader unit, plow, and wing to the Township of Algonquin Highlands, 1095 North Shore Road, Algonquin Highlands, Ontario K0M 1J1. The trucks, dump boxes, spreader units, plows, and wings must meet requirements as set out in the specifications. The dump box must function as a dump box in the summer, as a salt/sand spreader in winter, and be readily converted by Owners’ staff. The dump box must be robust enough for various materials without damage. The trip hinge and slide assembly requires a spring torsion RH trip hinge with a helper rubber timbren below. Delivery is Free on Board (F.O.B.), complete within 12 months of contract execution. Supplier must confirm order within 24 hours of contract execution and ensure delivery during regular working hours to the designated Owner address. All Proponents must submit proposals electronically through the County of Haliburton’s bidding portal, have a vendor account, be a registered Plan Taker, and meet the submission deadline. Proposals must include all required sections and adhere to the requested format. Proposals will be disqualified if mandatory requirements, including bid documents, warranty documentation, terms and conditions, and all required specifications, are not provided. Bidders must provide a certified cheque or bid bond in the specified amount for each Owner, to be received within 3 business days of electronic submission. Proposal deposits will be retained until contract requirements are satisfied. Only compliant submissions received by the deadline will be considered. All prices must be firm, include all applicable duties and excise taxes (excluding HST), and present an itemized list for each Owner. References must be current and relevant. The Owners reserve the right to reject any or all proposals or cancel the RFP process at their discretion.
