Description

Site work for a mixed-use development in San Diego, California. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.

As of April 07, 2026, the project was awarded to Empire Equipment Service, Inc., with an awarded amount of $7,826,900.15. The base bid generally consists of the de-channelization and restoration of a portion of Chollas Creek, including concrete channel and bridge removal; installation of a gravity block retaining wall; construction of a natural stone channel; construction of a headwall and junction structure; and construction of maintenance access ramps to the channel. Alternate items include the construction of trail; construction of curb ramps, curb, gutter, and sidewalk; landscaping and irrigation; and play and exercise equipment installation.
