The work includes the replacement of the Skokie Water Playground bathhouse partitions located at 4715 Oakton Street Skokie, IL 60076 . The scope of the project includes replacement of all shower and bathroom partitions within the men's and women's pool locker rooms at the Skokie Water Playground. Please note: The Skokie Park District has removed the existing partitions. Please refer to the chart and site visit for location of replacements . Bids shall be sealed in an envelope clearly marked Skokie District, SWP Partition Replacement Project and delivered to the Park Services at 7523 Long Avenue, Skokie, IL 60077. The Skokie Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any technicalities in the bidding if it should be deemed in the public's best interest. The work of this project is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq. A prevailing wage determination has been made for the Park District by IDOL for public works projects in Cook County. The contract entered into for the work will be drawn in compliance with said law and proposals should be prepared accordingly and provide payment for all laborers, workmen and mechanics needed to perform the work at no less than the prevailing rate of wages for each craft, type of worker or mechanic. Timeline: The timeline for this project to start is Spring of 2026. This project will be coordinated in conjunction with flooring and painting projects to take place in the locker rooms at the facility. Product Requirements: o Partitions/seats shall be made of commercial grade plastic that is acceptable for wet and dry conditions within locker room environments. o All toilet compartments, dressing compartments and shower compartments shall include doors. o Hinges shall be stainless steel helix. o Wall brackets shall be continuous and aluminum except for shower areas. Shower areas shall be three clip aluminum brackets. o Pricing shall include delivery, installation and any construction or disposal of material debris generated as a result of the installation.
