Joseph City Unified School District, #2 is in Navajo County serving our K-12 Community. This solicitation, Roof Replacement at Joseph City High School Auditorium and Agriculture Buildings, will be funded by the Division of School Facilities. Bring your subcontractors with you to this pre bid. This will be the only opportunity to visit the site as it is an occupied campus. Contractor shall maintain in current status all federal, state, and local licenses, bonds, and permits required for the operation of the business conducted by Contractor. Contractor shall remain fully informed of and in compliance with all ordinances and regulations pertaining to the lawful provision of services under the Contract. District reserves the right to stop work and/or cancel the contract of any Contractor whose license(s) expire, lapse, are suspended, or are terminated. Bid Bond: An irrevocable bid security payable to Joseph City Unified School District, #2 in the amount of 10.00% of the total bid project cost is required. This security should be in the form of a bid bond, certified check, and must be scanned into the Vendor Questionnaire the District by the due time and date cited for this solicitation. Performance Bond: The contractor shall be required to furnish an irrevocable security in the amount of 100.00% of the total contract price payable to Joseph City Unified School District, #2, binding the contractor to provide faithful performance of the contract. This security must be in the possession of the District within 48 hours after receipt of purchase order or other notice of award. The cost of this bond is itemized on the bid submittal form. Payment Bond: The Contractor shall be required to furnish non-revocable security for the protection of all persons supplying labor and material to the contractor or any subcontractor for the performance of any work related to the contract. Payment security shall be in the amount of 100.00% of the total contract price and be payable to Joseph City Unified School District, #2. The cost of this bond is included in your base bid. Liquidated Damages - a sum set forth in the Contract documents that will be deducted from any monies due to the Contractor, not as a penalty, but in lieu of actual damages for late completion of the work. Question Submission Deadline: January 20, 2026, 12:00pm. The District reserves the right to make an award on any item for any quantity less than the quantity offered, at unit costs or prices offered, unless the offeror specifies otherwise in the bid. The District may reject any or all bids if such action is in Joseph City Unified School District, #2's best interest. JCUSD reserves the right to reject proposed subcontractors. All subcontractors must be approved by the school district prior to start of work.
