As of March 24, 2026, the project has been awarded to the following: 1.) W. Brown Enterprises, Inc. for Section A and Section C, in the amount of $882,809.88 2.) Hoffman Water Wells for Section B, in the amount of $428,160.00 Water system improvements consisting of the installation of a 16-inch transmission main from the treatment plant to SH-32 and work on Water Well No. 3. The project is divided into three sections: Section A includes 4,870 linear feet of 16" PVC C900 DR18 waterline, 2 each of 16" interconnections, and 6 each of 16" butterfly valves and boxes. Section B involves drilling operations, including 20 vertical feet of 20" diameter hole, 360 vertical feet of 16" diameter hole, 360 vertical feet of 6" test well with zone-specific sampling, 200 vertical feet of stainless steel screen, 260 vertical feet of 10" PVC SDR 17 Certa Lok well casing, and 21 vertical feet of 16" steel surface casing. Section C includes 3,555 linear feet of 8" PVC C900 DR18 waterline, 715 linear feet of 6" PVC C900 DR18 waterline, 1 each 8" interconnection, and 4 each 8" gate valves and boxes. Bidders must comply with federal labor standards, HUD Section 3 requirements, equal employment opportunity, non-segregated facilities, and various federal and state provisions, including provisions for minority and women business enterprises, registration in SAM.gov, and the Build America, Buy America Act. Specifications are available from the consulting engineer's office for a fee. Only registered bidders on the engineer's list will be recognized as eligible. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award the contract in the best interest of the owner to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder.
