The City of Coon Rapids plans to modernize and expand its police station and city center campus located at 11155 Robinson Drive. The project includes an addition to the police station, renovation of existing facilities, and an addition to the garage housing police and fire vehicles and equipment. Upgrades will feature modernized technological infrastructure, a larger police station lobby, new police interview rooms, employee workspaces, expanded evidence processing and storage spaces, and additional spaces to support physical and mental health for police officers. Renovations to the city center campus will enhance security and customer service, update mechanical and electrical systems, and improve the senior center and banquet facility. As of May 20, 2026, information regarding design firm, construction manager, and general contractor has not been released. Further details regarding construction and completion timelines have not been identified.
