Site work for a water / sewer project in Buena Park, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of the removal of the well pump and motor, installation of owner supplied packers and associated equipment, reinstallation of the existing well pump and motor, and assistance with performing pumping tests to measure flow and PFAS concentrations. The project includes one optional additional test involving repeating the work to adjust the packer configuration. Bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid conference. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than ten percent of the total bid price. The successful bidder must execute the agreement, furnish a Faithful Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond each in an amount not less than one hundred percent of the total bid price, and provide insurance certificates. All work must be completed within 120 consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The bidder must possess a Class C-57 contractor's license at the time the bid proposal is submitted. The contractor and any subcontractor shall pay not less than the specified prevailing rates of wages to all workers employed on the contract. Contractors must comply with the District's Contractor Safety Program and familiarize themselves with the District's Contractor Health & Safety Handbook.
