Site work and renovation of a civil project in Shelburne, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The project takes place at two sewage lift stations in the Town of Shelburne, Nova Scotia. One lift station (SP06) is located on Hardy's Lane, the other (SP07) is located on the corner of Arthur Street and Glasgow Street. The work includes, but is not necessarily limited, to the following: the design, installation, and subsequent removal of a temporary sewage bypass system at each site; removal, cleaning, and turn over to the Owner at their public works building at 9 Rose Island Lane of equipment including pumps, valves, and floats within the existing wet wells at each site and any electrical equipment removed from the electrical panels; the installation of new piping, pumps, valves, couplings, and fittings within each wet well; supply and construction of a new valve chambers at Arthurs Lane; supply and installation of new forcemain piping along with connections to the existing system at Arthurs Lane; supply, site grading, installation and maintenance of topsoil, and sod; full site reinstatement to pre-construction conditions; all required environmental protection measures.
