The Town of Huntertown is proposing water main replacement along Old Lima Road, from Woods Road to Gump, replace an existing 6 inch water main with a larger 12 inch pipe to increase capacity in the water utility system. This work will include removal and replacement of existing pavement, installation of water main, open cut and horizontal directional drilling, installation of lateral service connections and site restoration. All qualified Contractors are invited to bid the work. Bids shall be accompanied by a bidder s bond or certified check equal to 5% of the bid amount. Bids arriving after the time set will be returned unopened and only complete bids with all required materials will be considered. The Town of Huntertown, Indiana reserves the right to reject all bids, waive defects and amend the Project s scope. It is anticipated that the Huntertown Utility Service Board will take bids received under advisement and that a determination may be made at the next Utility Service Board meeting. Question Deadline 01/23/2026 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. 7.03 Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all registered plan holders. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered.
