In general, the project consists of the installation of water main and sanitary sewer utilities utilizing trenchless construction methods. The project includes all necessary service connections, appurtenances, and associated res-torations. A single prime bid will be received for the work. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of 10% of the maximum bid amount. Bid and bid security may not be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after the Bid Deadline. Bid security will be retained if the Bidder is awarded the Work and fails to execute the Agreement and furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. Bidders shall submit a Bidder's Proof of Responsibility five days before the bid deadline if not submitted to Owner within the last 12 months.
