This urban paving project will resurface 0.29 miles of State Route 184 by removing the existing wearing course, performing necessary pavement repairs, resurfacing, installation of sidewalk, and PED ramps. QUESTIONS PERTAINING TO THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS All questions regarding the plans and specifications must be in writing by through the website. Each bid must be accompanied by a sufficient Surety Bond on the form included in the project's B Book (marked "Proposal Guaranty") executed by the bidder and a Surety Company together with a power of attorney showing the authority of the person or persons executing the bond for the surety or the sureties, and the date of the bond, to the satisfaction of the Mayor, or else by a certified check on some solvent bank payable to the City of Toledo in the sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the Estimated Total Contract price shown on the bidder's Proposal, but no more than $200,000. Should any bidder whose Proposal has been accepted by the Mayor refuse or fail to enter into the Contract and furnish the Contract Bond therefore as specified herein, the Mayor shall be entitled to collect on the said Proposal Guarantee Bond or deduct from the said check an amount equal to the excess of the Estimated Total Contract Price shown in the Proposal finally accepted over that contained in the Proposal of the originally accepted bidder.
