The work generally includes the removal of the existing steel girder bridge and the construction of a new prestressed precast concrete channel girder bridge founded on steel abutments and piers with steel piles. The superstructure is a three-span bridge measuring 36 m long by 7.2 m wide out-to-out. The structure crosses over Cypress River on Road 70W in the Municipality of Lorne, Manitoba.
