The Torrance Regional Transit Center, located at 465 Crenshaw Boulevard, is a multimodal transportation hub serving several Torrance Transit routes and connecting with regional transit operators. The TRTC campus is planned for continued expansion to support additional mobility services, increased transit operations, and transit-supportive facilities. A multi-level parking structure is a critical component of the TRTC Master Plan, supporting increased ridership, improving accessibility, and accommodating future transit growth. The intent of this project is to design and construct a new multi-level parking structure that: - Accommodates projected parking demand for transit riders, staff, and visitors. - Meets or exceeds accessibility, safety, and sustainability standards. - Enhances transit operational efficiency. - Supports the City's long-term mobility, sustainability, and infrastructure goals. - Provides EV-ready infrastructure and is PV-ready for future solar canopy installation. - Incorporates Low-Impact Development (LID) stormwater features as required by City and regional regulations. - Integrates architecturally with the existing TRTC campus and surrounding area.
