For the construction of the following Project: Chartiers Interceptor Rehabilitation Project - Phase 1 The Project includes the following Work: The project consists of approximately 4,400 linear feet of sewer system cleaning and Cured-In Place Pipe Lining. The Project has an expected duration of 150 days and needs to be substantially completed by June 30, 2025. Question Deadline 02/06/2026 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents via the Messages/Vendor Discussions feature in PennBid no later than seven (7) days prior to the date for receipt of bids. Attention is called to the fact that prevailing minimum wage rates as determined by the Secretary of the Department of Labor and Industry must be paid by the Contractors on this project and that employees and applicants for employment shall not be discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. Work under Contract 2025-03 covers the furnishing of all labor, material, plant, utilities, and services required for the cleaning and lining of sanitary sewage facilities and appurtenances. B. The project is located in Washington County. C. The work under Contract 2025-03 generally consists of the cleaning and Cured-In Place Pipe Lining of approximately 4,400 linear feet of sanitary sewer pipe Each contractor is required to meet the requirements of Public Works Employment Verification Act, Act 127 of 2012. This Contract includes site, mechanical, and structural work and other activities traditionally recognized as general construction. It also includes administrative and coordination responsibilities. Sanitary Sewer CCTV Inspection Any and all steel products used or supplied in the performance of the contract or any subcontracts shall be from steel made in the United States. This project was financed in part by a grant from the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Washington. Except as otherwise provided by law, no bidder may withdraw its bid for ninety (90) days after the Bid Due Date, unless the contract award is delayed by a required approval of another government agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which case the Bids shall remain open to acceptance and shall be irrevocable for a period of ninety (90) days after the Bid Due Date.
