Site work for a water / sewer project in Pennington, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Work under this contract shall include furnishing all labor, equipment and materials required to complete the 2025 Lead Service Line Replacements project in the Borough of Pennington. Work includes but is not limited to: the replacement of water service lines and associated infrastructure in various locations throughout the Borough of Pennington, NJ, to improve water quality and public health. This involves the removal and replacement of both public and private water service lines from the existing water main to the residential structure; meter pit installations; corporation stop installations; coordination with property owners to replace water service lines located on private property; reconnection to the existing water main; and restoration. All bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond executed by a principal of bidder and surety company attorney in fact, in the amount of 10% of the amount of the bid but not to exceed $20,000.00 and made payable to 'Borough of Pennington'. Each bid must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety of a surety company licensed to do business in New Jersey and acceptable to the Borough of Pennington. The successful Bidder must furnish a 100% Performance Bond and 100% Labor and Material Payment Bond. Upon final payment, the successful Bidder will also be required to furnish a General Maintenance Bond. Bidders must comply with all applicable New Jersey statutes, pay prevailing wages, and fulfill additional regulatory and form requirements as outlined by the Borough. As per Addendum 1, Non-mandatory pre-bid meeting for this project has been rescheduled and will be held in person at 10:00 AM prevailing local time on Monday, January 26, 2026 at the Pennington Borough Hall. Question Deadline: 01/22/2026: Bidders are expected to examine all of the Contract Documents with care and observe all their requirements. Ambiguities, conflicts, errors discrepancies, or omissions noted by Bidders should be promptly reported in writing to the Engineer no less than ten (10) business days prior to the opening of the bids.
