Only written responses to written questions will be official, binding responses. Responses to written questions will be e-mailed to each vendor that receives this ITB and provides a single point of contact. The general intent of the work isthe demolition and removal of all residentialstructures, located at 2511 Middle Tennessee Boulevard in Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37130. 1.1.2 Included work and all incidentals are listed below. It is required that all phases of the Work be executed by skilled craftsman experienced in their respective trades. 1.1.3 Contractor may subcontract any phase or portion of the work. However, such subcontract shall not relieve Contractor from enforcing the use of all required safety equipment by subcontractor and its employees providing any phase of the work. 1.1.4 All work must be in compliance with OSHA, TOSHA, EPA, TDEC, and any other regulatory standards that may apply. 1.1.5 All known asbestos containing material have been abated and/or removed from the premises. However, if suspected asbestos is found all work is to stop and MTSU needs to be notified, and suspect material be verified. A copy of the Hazardous Materials Inspection Survey from Frost Environmental Services (FES) is located in the appendix of this document. Demolition of the residential structure and basement, any outbuildings, and other surface and sub-surface structures as located within limits of the property located at 2511 Middle Tennessee Boulevard in Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37130. In addition to the requirement to remove all structures, remove all manmade appurtenances from the specified project site. This includes, but is not limited to, such elements as sections of miscellaneous posts, barbeque pits, perimeter fences and the like. 1.2.1 Buried structures, basements, footers and foundations, septic tank(s), and miscellaneous items located within limits of the properties. 1.2.2 Concrete slabs, asphalt paving, sidewalks and curbs associated with the residence. Any junctions between the remaining paving, sidewalks and curbs and the removed items shall have a clean cut through the entire depth of the material. 1.2.3 Remove any stumps, bushes, and shrubs immediately surrounding the residential structure to complete the demolition work. No other trees within the property lines are to be disturbed or removed. 1.2.4 Utility service lines to the service pole or within 10 feet of the property. 1.2.5 Protect neighboring property to remain in place. 1.2.6 Protect the public. 1.2.7 Maintain dust protection. 1.2.8 Backfill excavations with a clean, soil fill compacted to 95% standard proctor for the material. Fill to match existing grade. 1.2.9 Site Clean-up. Following cleanup, all demolition areas are to be seeded and strawed. 1.2.10 Removal of hazardous materials, such as mercury switches, fluorescent tubes and PCB ballasts, paints and household cleaning items are part ofthis contract. If other hazardous materials are encountered during demolition, Contractor shall halt demolition operations in that area and notify Owner. 1.2.11 Asbestos abatement is not part of this contract.
