The project consists of rehabilitation of approximately 2 miles of concrete pavement along Scarsdale Boulevard, a four-lane divided minor arterial located in Harris County Precinct 2. The specific scope consists of, but not limited to the following tasks: o Perform full-depth repair of concrete pavement, generally ten (10) inches in depth and 8-inch of lime-stabilized subgrade, and replace monolithic curbs as specified in the construction drawings or as directed by the Engineer. o Prepare, clean and seal all longitudinal, transverse and edge cracks following specified standards and specifications. o Restore curb inlets as shown in the COH standard drawings. o Provide adequate traffic control measures during all phases of construction as shown in the construction drawings or as directed by the Engineer. o Cleanup and restore site to original condition. Note: All equipment or trucks in excess of 14 tons (28,000 lbs.) must be submitted to the Engineer for review and approval prior to use. The Contract Time as defined in Paragraph 1.1.17 in GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR BUILDING CONSTRUCTION AND RELATED WORK & ROADS, BRIDGES AND RELATED WORK, is 240 calendar days.
