Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Taylor Ridge, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility.
New Greenhouse Project at Rockridge Junior/Senior High School for Rockridge School District #300 Rockridge High School 14110 134th Avenue West Taylor Ridge, Illinois, 61284 Work covered by contract documents: Demolition of the existing greenhouse and existing site conditions as required for the installation of a new greenhouse. New storm sewer per design for the new greenhouse. Concrete foundation system as designed for the new greenhouse. Interior slab-on-grade concrete as designed at the interior of the new greenhouse. Supply and installation of the new greenhouse as designed (greenhouse design to carry its own stamped engineered plans and calculations. Stamp is to be an Illinois licensed engineering stamp). Supply and installation of new aluminum entrances at the new greenhouse. All mechanical, plumbing, electrical, technology and fire alarm work as designed for the new greenhouse. Bids shall be submitted for the new greenhouse work per the construction documents. Contractors are required to survey the existing conditions prior to bidding. Bidding Documents are on file for reference at City Blue Technologies in Rock Island, IL and may be secured from City Blue Technologies for a refundable deposit of $200. Plans and Specifications are available for download at www.citybluetechnologies.com in the "online plan room." Bids shall be submitted in duplicate on forms issued by the Construction Manager. A performance and payment bond for the full amount of the Contract will be required of the successful bidder, and all costs associated with the bond shall be included in the bid amount. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security of at least 5% of the total amount of the base bid and all additive alternate bids. This may be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, bank draft or bid bond, payable to the Owner. Each craft, type of worker and mechanic needed to execute the Contract shall be paid the prevailing wage rate for the locality in which the work is performed, in accordance with all applicable laws. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and/or reject any or all bids. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of bids without written consent of the Owner.
