The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to solicit sealed bids for a contractor to provide window removal and replacement services to Norfolk Public Schools Period of Contract: The resulting contract shall be from the date of issuance of a Purchase Order through full project completion on August 24, 2026. The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to solicit sealed bids for a contractor to provide window removal and replacement services to Norfolk Public Schools (hereinafter referred to as NPS). Bidders responding to this request must be responsible, regularly and practically engaged in providing the goods and/or services requested in this IFB, and possess ample resources for fulfilling requirements as detailed in this IFB. The awarded contractor should also be able to provide reports updating progress,such as a Daily Construction Report (samples may be requested by the awarded contractor), and to attend meetings/briefings with the Owner or the Owner's Representative to review project sta Bidder must provide all labor, materials, and equipment to perform the following: 1. Windowpane replacement throughout the building 2. Bidder shall remove any damaged glass and hazardous materials that are defined in the contract documents 3. Worksite location: Mary Calcott Elementary School, 137 Westmont Avenue, Norfolk, VA 23503 4. The Biddershall provide and transport replacement glass to worksite 5. Bidder shall provide and coordinate delivery of lift to perform work 6. Bidder shall replace glass and any damaged stainless steel trim caps 7. Bidder shall remove and dispose of all debris from the premises 8. Window must be checked or tested for leaks and pressure before job is completed The deadline for submitting questions under this IFB is Tuesday March 17, 2026, 3:00PM EST.
