The work is for the faithful performance of approximately 2,500 square meters of new asphalt, which includes milling 50mm depth and filling up to road grade, at multiple locations within the Municipal District of Greenview No.16. These locations include approximately 833 square meters each in the Valleyview area (including Little Smoky, New Fish Creek, DeBolt, and Ridgevalley and areas), Grovedale and area, and Grande Cache. Each milled identified section and/or road must be filled within 72 hours or less, regardless of geographical location. All work must be completed as per the specifications stated and annually on or before August 1st. Failure to meet the completion date will result in a penalty of $2,000 per day until completion. Square meters and locations are subject to annual updates or changes at the discretion of the Municipality, with changes communicated in writing, as early as possible and on or before May 1 each year. The maximum work area length is 3 kilometers, and compliance with the Alberta Traffic Accommodation in a Work Zone Manual is required. The successful bidder must be able to perform the work to Alberta Transportation specifications for Asphalt Pavement Deep Patching 53.14. Each proposal must agree to the terms and conditions outlined, include detailed information in compliance with the Rated Criteria and the Schedule of Prices, and maintain specified insurance coverage during the contract term, naming the Municipality as an additional insured and providing a Certificate of Insurance before contract execution and at each renewal or upon request.
