Sealed proposals are requested for the 82nd Street Jake's Law Playground in the Borough of Stone Harbor, Cape May County, New Jersey. Bid Documents and Drawings have been prepared by DeBlasio & Associates, P.C., and are available at their office for inspection during business hours. Bidders must request copies of the Bid Documents and pay a non-refundable fee. The project is utilizing State funds through the Green Acres Program and excludes participation by vendors currently suspended, debarred, or disqualified under N.J.A.C. 7:1D-2. Proposals must be made on standard Proposal Forms, enclosed in sealed envelopes with the bidder's name and address, and the name of the work, and must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety and a Bid Bond, Certified or Cashier's Check for at least ten percent of the bid amount (not exceeding $20,000). The successful bidder must provide a performance bond for the full project amount and execute a contract along with a surety bond from a reliable surety company approved by the Borough Solicitor. Bidders are required to comply with Affirmative Action requirements, Debarment/Suspension/Disqualification rules, Certification of non-investment in Iranian financial or energy sectors, the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Worker and Community Right-to-Know Act, Stockholder Disclosure Certification, Business Registration Certification, Public Works Contractors Registration, Consent of Surety, Addendum Acknowledgement, and submit a Subcontractors List. The Borough reserves the right to consider bids for sixty days, to reject any or all bids, or to waive informalities as deemed in its best interest.
