The new gymnasium project for Ingleside ISD High School is a state-of-the-art facility designed to support a wide range of athletic and training activities for students. The comprehensive design includes an indoor practice field, coach’s offices, an athletic training area, a weight room, a film room, boys and girls locker rooms, and a laundry room. These facilities are aimed at providing a conducive environment for physical education, sports training, and competitive events. Indoor Practice Field The indoor practice field is designed to provide a versatile space for various sports practices and training sessions, ensuring that activities can continue regardless of weather conditions. Coach’s Offices Dedicated offices for coaches provide a professional space for planning, meetings, and administrative tasks, helping them manage their teams effectively and provide guidance and support to student-athletes. Athletic Training Area An athletic training area is available to support injury prevention and rehabilitation. This space is equipped with essential medical supplies and equipment to provide immediate care to athletes and ensure their safety and well-being. Weight Room The weight room is outfitted with modern exercise equipment to support strength training and conditioning programs. This facility is designed to help students and athletes improve their physical fitness and overall health. Film Room A film room is included to facilitate team meetings and review sessions, allowing coaches and athletes to analyze performance, develop strategies, and improve their game. Locker Rooms Separate boys and girls locker rooms are provided, each equipped with showers, lockers, and changing areas. Laundry Room A laundry room is available to manage athletic uniforms and gear, ensuring that students have access to clean and well-maintained equipment. As of January 13, 2026, the project is in design. Construction is slated to begin on February 28, 2026, with completion date of May 31, 2027.
