Wharton-Smith, Inc. is soliciting Early Procurement proposals from prequalified subcontractors for Site Work, Fueling System, and Long Lead Electrical Equipment in support of the new Utility Operations Facility for Bay Laurel Center CDD. The project at 9850 SW 84th Court, Ocala, FL 34481 includes a new 7,800 SF Utility Operations Building, Covered Fuel Depot, Pre-engineered Metal Pole Barn on a 7.5 Acre site, with work including earthwork, underground utilities, paving, landscaping, fencing, concrete, masonry, structural steel, roofing, sealants, fireproofing, doors, frames and hardware, overhead doors, windows, storefront, gypsum wallboard assemblies, acoustical ceilings, sealed concrete flooring, resilient and tile flooring, painting, signage, marker boards, toilet accessories, division 10 specialties, lockers, aluminum canopies, residential food service specialties, shelving, modular cubicle and other furnishings, casework, pre-engineered metal building, fire sprinklers, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and low voltage/technology systems. The Early Procurement Bid Package covers Site Work and furnishing/delivery (excluding installation) of the Main Distribution Switchboard and panelboards. The complete Fuel Depot, Diesel Generator, and Transfer Switches are to be furnished and installed onsite as part of the early procurement bid package.
