The project involves an interior refresh at two school buildings, including replacement of ceilings, light fixtures, and other associated finish work. Additional miscellaneous work includes replacement of doors and wall touch up. All work shall be in accordance with the Bidding Documents, including the Specifications and the Construction Drawings. Bids must be completely and properly executed on Bid Form 96 (Revised 2013), as prescribed by the Indiana State Board of Accounts, with financial data no more than 90 days old. Each bid shall be accompanied by an executed non-collusion affidavit, a bid bond in the minimum amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, and any other documents required by the Instructions to Bidders. The bid bond may be a certified or cashier's check payable to the Board of School Trustees of the Tippecanoe School Corporation or an acceptable bidder's bond. Requirements for signing bids are provided for individuals, partnerships, and corporations, including required signatures and corporate seal. Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, properly marked with the name and place of business of the bidder, and the contract for which the bid is submitted. The successful bidder must provide a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price. Contract price will be based on a complete exemption of Indiana State Sales Tax, and if later determined a tax must be paid by the Owner, the contract price will be adjusted to reflect this liability.
