Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Santa Barbara, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The proposed Project consists of the construction of a new 2.5-million gallon (MG) chlorine contact basin along with structural upgrades of the existing finished water reservoir at the Cater Water Treatment Plant (Cater) . Cater is a continuously operating drinking water treatment facility. The Project shall not disrupt facility operations. The Project will require the demolition of one Solids Recovery Basin (SRB), improvements to the existing roadway along the west side of the property, replacement of existing emergency generators and HVAC equipment, and stormwater infrastructure improvements. All design and construction services solicited by the City must conform to federal guidelines for procurement and labor practices. Proposers are advised that, as required by federal law, the SRF has established Disadvantaged Business Enterprise, Davis-Bacon, and Build America Buy America Act requirements.
