The Project includes providing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, accessories, hauling, storage, tools and incidentals necessary for the construction and completion of the work according to the Bidding and Contract Documents and consists of the following: Demolition, Concrete, Polished Concrete, Masonry, Structural Steel & Handrails, Metal Stud Framing, Rough Carpentry, Millwork, TPO Roofing, Doors, Coiling Doors, Hardware, Storefronts and Glazing, Gypsum Board, ACT Ceiling, Epoxy Flooring, Resilient Flooring, Wood Athletic Flooring, Painting, Gym Equipment, Dimensional Signage, Specialties, Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical. A Performance and Payment Bond will be required of the successful bidders in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. The bond amounts will need to be included in the Base Bid and Alternate(s) amounts. Real Damages/Delay Damages in the amount of $500.00 per calendar day and Liquidated Damages in the amount of $1.000.00 per calendar day may be assessed every day that work is not completed per the Construction Schedule and after the scheduled final completion date is not achieved. The bidders understand that the CM and the Owner reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest and qualified bidder and to reject any or all bids and/or to waive any and all technicalities or informalities in the bidding. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days subsequent to the specified time for receipt of bids.
