The project consists of water meter installation services for business and commercial customers throughout the City of Ketchikan. The contractor is responsible for furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, and other facilities necessary to complete the work as specified. This includes conducting site inspections, developing installation plans, and installing approximately 250 water meters (sizes ranging from _-inch to 6-inches) in accordance with City specifications and under City project management. All installations are to be completed within the heated premises of selected Ketchikan businesses. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials (including copper tubing and piping), tools, equipment, and incidentals required to design and install new water meters. Copies of sealed bids must be received by the specified deadline. Local bidder preference applies as per city code. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formality or technicality in the interest of the City.
