The Contractor shall provide all necessary supervision, materials, equipment, and labor to provide industrial cleaning services at the Platte Generating Station. The scope will generally consist of grit blasting in the precipitator, rodding and vacuum in the superheat, high pressure water blasting in the Bottom Ash System and air heater, and vacuum cleaning throughout the power station. The work includes but is not limited to cleaning various ductwork, hoppers, boilers, economizers, air heaters, cooling tower basins, bottom ash systems, and other plant components as detailed. The Contractor is responsible for supporting detonation blasting crews, vacuuming as required, and ensuring all areas are cleaned to specified standards. All work must be coordinated with plant personnel and adhere to site safety and environmental requirements. Any alternative cleaning methods proposed by the Contractor must be fully described and separately priced in the bid submission. The base bid must include all costs associated with the specified work, and a detailed bid breakdown is required. The Contractor must provide a Superintendent, comply with safety and insurance requirements, submit required bonds, and follow instructions regarding bid preparation, submission, and evaluation criteria. Accurate daily logs and timesheets must be maintained, and all work is subject to inspection by the owner’s representative. Deviations from the scope or schedule must be explained in the bid, and all change orders require written authorization before proceeding.
