Question Deadline 01/23/2026 Must be submitted at least seven (7) consecutive calendar days prior to the bid date to Dave.Gotschall@woolpert.com The work involves replacing Runway 9-27 PAPIs including new cable, conduit, and junction boxes at Union County Airport. Major bid items include installing #8 AWG THWN-2, 600V wire (8,000 LF), #8 AWG ground wire (4,000 LF), #6 AWG solid bare copper counterpoise with ground rods and connections/terminations (4,000 LF), and installing 1-2" SCH. 40 PVC duct, direct earth buried (3,400 LF). L-110-5.2 Install 1-2" SCH. 40 HDPE Duct, Directionally Bored 525.0 LF L-115-5.1 Install L-867B Junction Box, Complete 8.0 EA L-125-5.1 Remove L-880 PAPI System from Existing Bases, Complete 2.0 EA L-125-5.2 Install L-880 LED PAPI System, Complete 2.0 EAThe Contractor must provide all labor, insurance, supervision, equipment, materials, and means of construction to complete the work, including all incidental and restoration work as required, in accordance with the contract documents, plans, and specifications. Work to begin within 10 days of the NTP date. The allowed construction time is 21 calendar days. Bidders must obtain complete sets of bidding documents, register as a plan holder, and review all site conditions and addenda prior to submitting a proposal. Qualifications must be submitted as described, and bids must be enclosed in a plainly marked package and received by the specified time and date. Late bids will not be considered. Bids may be withdrawn or modified according to specified procedures. Evidence of authority and qualification to do business in the state is required. Bids must be submitted on a unit price basis for each listed work item, and the contract will be awarded according to the lowest responsive bid. Bidders must include bid security and be prepared to execute performance and payment bonds upon award. The contractor is responsible for all damage or injury to property during execution of the work and for restoration of all disturbed surfaces. The work must be completed within specified calendar days, with liquidated damages for failure to meet deadlines. Site access, operational safety, and traffic maintenance requirements must be strictly followed.
