Scope of Services This Scope of Services describes the requirements for the removal and replacement of a damaged concrete barrier wall at the Nebraska Parking Garage, including all associated demolition, construction, safety, and restoration activities necessary to deliver a fully compliant and structurally sound installation. 1. Engineering and Permitting Produce and provide engineering calculations and drawings in appropriate quantities and sizes, signed and sealed as required to obtain all state and local development permits. Contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits prior to mobilization. 2. Mobilization and Site Preparation Coordinate with City staff prior to the start of work to review project scope, schedule, and site access requirements. Install temporary safety measures including barricades, signage, and pedestrian/vehicle traffic control to ensure safe operation within the garage during construction. Approved Maintenance of Traffic Plan (MOT) shall be included as required. Protect adjacent surfaces, vehicles, and structures from damage during construction activities. The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit qualified and experienced contractors to remove and replace the damaged concrete barrier wall, including all associated demolition, disposal, reinforcement, construction, and finishing work. The new barrier wall must be designed and constructed in accordance with all applicable building codes, engineering specifications, and safety standards, and it must match the existing structure's appearance and finish to maintain a consistent aesthetic within the facility. The selected contractor will be expected to provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, permits, and documentation required to complete the project from start to finish. Upon completion, the contractor will deliver a fully compliant, structurally sound barrier wall along with all required as-built drawings, inspection reports, and warranty documentation.
