Contractors are invited to submit sealed bids for the Locally Funded Project - Vernon Pickleball Courts. This project consists of construction of pickleball courts at the Town of Vernon Offices, located at 4305 Peterboro Rd, Vernon, NY. Bids must include a certified check or cashier's check payable to the Town of Vernon or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total Bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, each at least equal to the Contract Amount as security for the faithful performance and payment of all contractor obligations. The Town reserves the right to waive any informality in or reject any or all bids. Bids may be held for up to forty-five (45) calendar days from the date of the bid opening for review and investigation of qualifications prior to awarding the contract. There will be no pre-bid meeting. All questions must be directed via email no later than 4 working days prior to bid opening.
